12 Nov 2026 · 18:00–20:30
This is a meetup for people connecting AI to the real world.
Whether you’re working on robots, autonomous drones, manipulators, ML software, sensors, teleoperation, or the systems that bring them together, come share your work and meet others in the field!
Topics include perception, learning, control, navigation, manipulation, embedded systems, simulation, teleoperation, data collection, datasets, training, and deployment. A camera system, a data pipeline, or an ML experiment is as relevant as a complete robot.
Engineers, researchers, founders, students and hobbyists are welcome!
Want to give a talk or bring a demo?
We’re looking for contributions to the program. Show a project, pitch an idea, explain a useful tool, discuss research, or bring a problem you’re still figuring out.
Give a presentation, bring a demo, or do both. We are very flexible about presentations: talks can be from 5 to 30 minutes, yor choice (short 5-minute ignite-syle talks are preferred).
It doesn’t need to be novel, finished, or polished. Practical engineering experience, failed experiments, and lessons learned are all welcome. Videos, simulations, and software demos are welcome too.
Send a few lines about your topic, and any demo setup requirements to Sergii sk2009@gmail.com.
Confirmed speakers
• Ekaterina Matson – "Too Far to Phone Home: LLM Controller for Planetary Rovers"
• Sergii Kharagorgiiev – “Learning to manipulate: how affordable hardware and generalist policies are coming together"
Confirmed demos
• QDD motor control: motors control modes & interfaces
• VR robot arm teleoperation
• Small-scale rover prototype

Support the meetup
This event is generously supported by Lift99: a co-working space designed for you and your team.
Interested in sponsoring? Contact Sergii at sk2009@gmail.com. Meet local engineers and researchers, introduce your company’s work, and support the community. Sponsors will be acknowledged in the event announcement and at the meetup; company dempos are possible. All funds would be used for the event organization only.
